I'm tiny Tawny Sue, but my buddies just call me 'Tawn'.  Some people tease me and say I look like a lemur, but I think they're just jealous 'cause I'm such a cutie.  My bigger sister Willie Mae and I were left behind on a ranch when our mom and her owner moved away.  Nobody really wanted us--they were busy with all the work to do around there and so they were just going to shoot us.  A nice lady called SNIPPP to try to save us, and it worked!  We're both shy when we first meet you, and we think that a lot of things in the world are kind of scary if we haven't run into them before.  But we are sweet, happy, playful gals--smart, too.  I'm a scrappy little girl--maybe that's how I survived the early months of my life.  If someone spent a little time teaching us some basic canine good behavior, we'd be wonderful companions or maybe show-off trick dogs, who knows?  We're both such handy sizes--I probably won't get to be much bigger than about 25 pounds (I'm on the left in the photo of us together--as you can see, Willie's bigger than I am).  You ought to meet us to see how cute we are in person!
