Trixie is a darling little girl who was neglected for a large part of her life and shows it by not wanting to share her owner with other dogs - she likes humans just fine once she knows them but she wants to be the only dog in her home or she could live with a larger dog or one who isn't going to allow bullying. She is a very sweet girl, she just wants all the attention if she can get it. She also requires a well fenced home, as she likes to go for unattended walks if she can find a break in your fence and that is just not safe.
Trixie enjoys walks and car rides. She has learned to play tug of war and enjoys any attention you can give. She needs a home where there is someone there most of the time. She is a little lap dog who just wants your company and will reward you with kisses. She even likes to sleep with her paw touching you.
She is house trained and NOT yappy. Perfect for an older person or someone who wants a companion.  Trixie needs to find a permanent home or a foster before June 5 due to her person's medical issues or she will be shelter bound.
Please consider Trixie - she is a very good girl and doesn't deserve to go to the shelter!
