Hi there, I am Monty, a happy cheerful pup who makes up his own "cute puppy tricks". My latest one is that I drag the dog beds on the porch so that they are overlapping and when my foster mom tries to straighten them out, I sit on them so that she can’t move them. Then I find abandoned dog toys in the yard and bring them to my pile of beds. Last of all, I drag the rug from my dog crate to this pile so that we all can sleep together! I do enjoy following 'mom' everywhere; she says I have a really nice personality. I am shy when I first get to know you but soon enough I come around for hugs and to be petted. I am good with other dogs and would probably really enjoy having a family with kids I could play with. Everyone says I am going to be a BIG boy, so it will be important to get started right away with my obedience training--but I am smart and cooperative, so teaching me should be fun. I bark when strangers come around, but I know not to go overboard with that barking stuff. Since I am still a little young to be neutered, my adopter will need to add a $50 neuter deposit, which will be refunded upon request with proof that I have been neutered; that will need to be done by June 1, 2014.
