Our lucky boy Zippy has gone to his new home with a wonderful family- plenty of hiking, swimming, and playing in the yard to look forward to!

Hi, my name is Zippy, and if you get a chance to throw a toy for me, you'll find out why--I can 'zip' over to get it quick as can be. I would love to have a human or canine friend to play with. I know basic commands, and I'm good walking on or off leash. So far I'm very well-behaved in the house, even though the people who gave me up said that I wasn't. Right now I don't like to get into a vehicle or a crate, but once I'm in, I settle down and act fine. I need to learn more self control about playing fetch--I get SOO ENTHUSIASTIC that I'm a little rough, but I am practicing doing it the way the humans say I am supposed to. I'm a happy, enthusiastic boy--I love to be part of the family fun and outdoor activities. Playing in the sprinkler or the snow are my favorite things. I have lived with other dogs and cats in my past, so I would probably be fine with them again. I don't like it if unsupervised little kids pull my tail or poke me in the eyes--but who would? I'd be so glad to find a new family any time now, if you'll love me and treat me nice. I am up to date on vaccinations and I am heartworm negative.
