"Hi, my name is Girl, and I am in need of a family or person who will take me home and love me forever.  'Girl' may seem like an unusual name, but it does have a nice ring to it.   Think of it this way: whatever name I might have with my new family, I will always be Girl! : ) 

I am a unique blend of (best guess) Pit Bull and Australian Shepherd.  My aquamarine blue eyes, lined with black, give me an exotic appearance.

My foster mom found me in some bushes, struggling to survive in the heat.  The vet didn't think I would have survived another day, but here I am thanks to loving humans who stepped in and nursed me back to health.  I have been spayed, I am on heartworm preventative and have had my first round of shots.

I am calm and friendly with strangers, I'm good with kids and other dogs.  We're not sure about cats, yet.  At 8 months old, I am just a young girl, and haven't learned my manners yet.  But I am ready to learn, with patience and positive reinforcement.  Won't you please come and meet me?"
