Nala is a purebred Belgian Malinois who has been rescued from a backyard breeder.  She is 1 1/2 years old and about 80 lbs.

She is extremely smart, and a very high-energy dog who requires stimulation and exercise to keep her from getting bored.   Nala is  wary of men; her foster is working on socializing her, and making progress.  She is fine with women and older kids, however she is a bit timid on first meetings.   During her month in foster, she has learned basic manners - sit, stay, come, etc.  Nala would be a great fit for a person who has experience with shepherd-type dogs.  She has a wonderful personality, and is anxiously awaiting the perfect family to taker her home.
