I'm Pine, a very shy boy who is learning that all humans, unlike the ones I knew in my past, are not scary! I am getting so that after just a few days around a new friendly person, I can start to relax and just act like a happy dog. I was rescued from a location where 20 dogs were all chained up, living outside with little or no protection from the weather. I was heartworm positive, but now I've gone through treatment and am doing fine healthwise. Are you the HERO who could continue to give me special attention? Healing my psychological scars would be such a wonderful, kind thing. I love playing in the yard with the friendly female dog at my foster home. I hope someone will think I deserve a better life than what I had for so many years at the end of the chain. Your love could make a world of difference to me!
