I'm Danner, a hound who’s surprisingly laid back quite a bit of the time. I am very tuned in to trying to please you, so there’s no reason to yell at me; usually a simple "No" teaches me. At my foster home, I do not wander; I just want to be next to my foster mom, or am content in my kennel. I eat with the other dogs I am staying with, and they are even teaching me to play! I am only 2 years old but behave like a wise old soul in many ways.

I would be great to jog with, be a comfort at your feet while you watch TV, or be dressed in costume by your little ones. Even so, I am a Treeing Walker Coonhound, so I am hardwired to chase and tree small animals; I would do best in a home with no cats!  I am heartworm negative and microchipped.
