Arf, arf! I'm Ellie Mae, a pretty white "mini German Shepherd". I'm still a bit on the thin side for now, because when SNIPPP rescued me, I had been on my own for who knows how long--and it turned out I needed surgery to remove a PIN from my intestines that kept me from eating! I'm OK now and gaining weight, but I still have a ways to go. The SNIPPP people got me a fun foster home--I have a 'sister' dog and we play all the time. I love being in the house and I get to have my very own bed--so much better than trying to find a place on my own to stay out of the wind and rain. I am housetrained and know several commands. The vet thinks I am already spayed--it looks like I have a scar from that. So my life this far has had a few bumps along the way, but I'm still a happy girl, looking forward to meeting my forever family. Could that be YOU? You could call SNIPPP and see about meeting me. :-)
