Thumper
Little Thumper always loved to roam around--he wandered the streets of Burney on a regular basis. Even after he was adopted by a family out in the country, they just couldn't keep him from setting out on his own whenever he could manage to escape. There are just too many bad things out there waiting to happen to a little guy, and one of them caught up with Thumper. He lived a happy, carefree life.

Kujo, a mighty guy despite his small size and advanced age, was given up by his former owners because they were moving. His SNIPPP foster family fell in love with him and hated to have him shuffled to yet another place, so he stayed with them and was loved 'til the end of his time.

Cassie
Cassie spent 4 happy years in dog paradise with her adoptive family in Hat Creek after being abandoned by her original owner. She loved living there, roaming free, swimming in the creek, rolling in stinky carcasses and playing with her best buddy Gus. Cancer took her away, but she will be sorely missed.
